About Posindex
Posindex is a free, data-driven tool that helps you see where your income stands compared to others in your country.
What we do
We provide an income position calculator for multiple countries. You enter your country and annual salary; we show you how you compare to the national median and average, an estimated percentile, and a simple cost-of-living overview. Our goal is to make income comparison clear and useful without requiring sign-up or payment.
Data and methodology
Our estimates are based on publicly available concepts from sources such as the World Bank and OECD (median and mean household income, inequality indices). We use a log-normal approximation to estimate percentiles. All figures are in USD equivalent and are illustrative, not real-time official statistics. For full details, see our Methodology page.
